中德工程师学院创建于2014年，系浙江省首家本科及以上层次的非独立设置中外合作办学机构，学院作为浙江科技大学教育教学改革的“示范田”、中德合作的“金名片”，打造“卓越工程师的摇篮”，积极探索在中国办好应用科技大学的路径。学院全面系统引进德国应用科技大学的人才培养体系和教学管理模式，包括育人理念、培养方案、课程体系、教学内容、教学方法、考核评价体系、教学管理模式和质量保证体系等，并在此基础上不断改革创新，为中德两国培养具备国际视野和实践应用能力的卓越工程师。2022年学院“基于中德深度合作的‘三化’应用型工程人才培养模式的探索与实践”被评为浙江省教学成果奖一等奖。

学院目前内设3个专业教研室和3个中心（德语语言中心、实践教学中心和创新创业中心）。三个本科专业分别是与德国吕贝克应用科技大学合作举办土木工程专业、与德国西海岸应用科技大学合作举办电气工程及其自动化专业、与西萨克森茨维考应用科技大学合作举办工业工程专业，三个专业均已通过德国权威工程认证——ACQUIN认证。学院与10个德国院校签订13个学生出国交流项目，学生在满足条件的情况下可赴德国院校学习，目前已有370人次286名学生赴德学习交流。

学院现有教职工40人，其中专任教师29人，高级职称8人，博士10人，具有海外留学背景24人，专业教师高级职称比例27.59 %，博士比例达34.48 %，硕士及以上比例达96.55%。学院拥有外专外教19人，其中博士13人，占比68.42%。学院中方教师有科大青年英才1人，校优秀青年教师资助计划3人。土木工程专业负责人获浙江省高校优秀共产党员称号，两名实验人员获浙江省高校实验室工作先进个人。教师在教学技能比赛和学科竞赛中获国家级奖项2项、省级4项。学院时任教学院长2017年获浙江省“西湖友谊奖”，电气专业德方负责人获德国“年度教授”称号。

学院教师积极投身于教学科学研究，获教研项目省部级及以上11项，厅局级项目4项；获国家自然科学基金项目2项，省部级科研项目12项。论文论著方面，在各类期刊发表学术论文73篇，其中国内一级期刊、CSSCI和A&HI等收录期刊发表6篇；出版专著、译著及编著3部。

学院以立德树人为根本任务，坚持全面发展人才观和“国际化”、“应用型”办学理念，积极培养有国际视野的、工程实践经验丰富的高水平应用型人才。近年来，学生主持国家级大学生创业创新项目10项，省级6项；获发明专利8项，创办企业7家。学院积极组织开展各类学科竞赛，机器人团队获全国机器人大赛优秀参赛单位和最佳组织奖。学生获国家级74项、省级36项，其中我院15级电气工程及其自动化专业学生获浙江省第四届“互联网＋”大学生创新创业大赛金奖，创造浙江科技大学在该比赛中的记录。3名同学获校卓越学子奖学金。

Das Chinesisch-Deutsche Institut für Angewandte Ingenieurwissenschaften (CDAI) ist die erste nicht unabhängige internationale kooperative Bildungseinrichtung auf der Bachelor- und höheren Ebene in der Zhejiang Provinz. Als ein gutes Vorbild für die Ausbildungs- und Lehrreform der Zhejiang University of Science and Technology (ZUST), und ein erfolgreiches Beispiel der Chinesisch-Deutschen Kooperation hat CDAI aktiv geforscht, wie gute Hochschulen für Angewandte Wissenschaften in China etabliert werden können. CDAI führt systematisch das Ausbildungssystem und das Lehrverwaltungsmodell von deutschen Fachhochschulen ein, einschließlich des Bildungsgedankens, der Lehrpläne, der Fächerstruktur, der Lehrinhalte, der Lehrmethoden, des Evaluationssystems, des Lehreorganisationsmodells sowie des Qualitätssicherungssystems usw. Auf dieser Grundlage hat CDAI fortlaufend reformiert und innoviert, um Ingenieure mit internationalen Perspektive und angewandten Fähigkeiten für China und Deutschland auszubilden. Im Jahr 2022 wurde das Projekt „Versuch und Praxis eines auf der vertieften chinesisch-deutsche Kooperation basierenden Ausbildungsmodells mit drei Besonderheiten – Internationale Bildung, Ingenieurbildung und Profilbildung“ des CDAI mit dem ersten Preis des Zhejiang Provincial Teaching Achievement Award ausgezeichnet.CDAI verfügt derzeit über 3 Studiengänge und 3 Zentren (Deutsches Sprachzentrum, Praxiszentrum und Zentrum für Innovation und Entrepreneurship). Die drei Bachelor-Studiengänge sind Bauingenieurwesen (BIW) in Kooperation mit der Technischen Hochschule Lübeck, Elektro- und Automatisierungstechnik mit Studienrichtung Management (EAM) in Kooperation mit der Fachhochschule Westküste und Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen mit Studienrichtung Intelligente Produktionstechnik (WIP) in Kooperation mit der Westsächsischen Hochschule Zwickau. Alle drei Studiengänge sind durch das Akkreditierungs-, Certifizierungs- und Qualitätssicherungs-Institut (ACQUIN) akkreditiert und zertifiziert. CDAI hat 13 Studentenaustauschprogramme mit 10 deutschen Hochschulen unterzeichnet. Und die Studenten können an deutschen Hochschulen austauschen, wenn sie die Bedingungen erfüllen. Bis heute sind insgesamt 370 Gruppen mit 286 Studenten nach Deutschland zum Austauschstudium entsandt.

Am CDAI arbeiten momentan 40 Lehrer und Mitarbeiter, von denen 29 fachliche Lehrkräfte sind. Unter den Lehrkräften sind 8 Lehrer mit einem hohen akademischen Titel (27,59%), 10 mit einem Doktortitel (34,48%), 24 mit ausländischem Bildungshintergrund. 96,55% aller fachlichen Lehrer haben Master- und höhere Abschlüsse. Darüber hinaus sind 19 ausländische Lehrkräfte am CDAI tätig, darunter 13 mit einem Doktortitel sind, die 68,42% ausmachen. Unter den chinesischen Lehrkräften gehört ein Lehrer zu den Mitgliedern der jungen Top-Talenten der Uni ZUST und drei Lehrer sind durch das Projekt für Ausgezeichnete junge Lehrer von der Uni ausgewählt und gefördert worden. Der Studiengangsleiterin für BIW wurde der Titel eines herausragenden Mitglieds der Kommunistischen Partei aller Hochschulen in der Zhejiang Provinz verliehen, und zwei Labor-Ingenieure erhielten den Titel für Ausgezeichnete Labor-Mitarbeiter unter allen Hochschulen in der Zhejiang Provinz. Die Lehrer des CDAI haben zwei Mal nationale Auszeichnungen und 4 Mal provinzielle Auszeichnungen in Wettbewerben für Lehrkompetenz und disziplinären Wettbewerben gewonnen. Im Jahr 2017 gewann der damalige Studiendekan den „West Lake Friendship Award“ in der Zhejiang Provinz, und der deutsche Studiengangsleiter für EAM wurde in Deutschland mit dem Titel „Professor des Jahres“ ausgezeichnet.

Alle Lehrkräfte beteiligen sich aktiv an der Lehr- und wissenschaftliche Forschung und haben 11 Lehrforschungsprojekte auf Provinz- und Ministerebene und darüber hinaus 4 auf Regierungsbehörde der Provinz-Ebene gewonnen. Daneben haben sie auch 2 Projekte der National Natural Science Foundation of China und 12 wissenschaftliche Forschungsprojekte auf Provinz- und Ministerebene gewonnen. In Bezug auf Papiere sind 73 wissenschaftliche Arbeiten in verschiedenen Zeitschriften veröffentlicht worden, darunter 6 in inländischen erstklassigen Zeitschriften und in anderen indizierten Zeitschriften wie CSSCI und A & HI. Außerdem sind noch 3 Monographie, Übersetzung und Herausgeberschaft veröffentlicht.

CDAI sieht die Ausbildung mit Tugend als grundlegende Aufgabe, hält sich an das Konzept der umfassenden Talententwicklung und das Konzept der „Internationalisierung“ und „Anwendungsorientiert“ und fördert aktiv hervorragende anwendungsorientierte Talente mit internationalen Perspektiven und reicher Erfahrung in der Ingenieurpraxis. In den letzten Jahren haben die Studierenden 10 nationale Projekte für Innovation und Entrepreneurship auf Staatsebene und 6 Projekte auf Provinzebene geleitet. 8 Erfindungspatente sind anerkannt worden und 7 Unternehmen wurden gegründet. CDAI hat aktiv verschiedene disziplinäre Wettbewerbe organisiert und durchgeführt, und das Roboterteam hat den Preis für herausragendes Teilnehmerteam und den Preis für die beste Organisation des National Robot Competition gewonnen. Die Studierenden haben 74 Projekte auf Staatsebene und 36 Projekte auf Provinzebene erworben, von denen EAM-Studierende aus der Generation 2015 die Goldmedaille des vierten „ Internet + “ Wettbewerb für studentische Innovation und Entrepreneurship in der Provinz Zhejiang gewonnen haben, was einen Rekord im Wettbewerb für die Uni darstellt. Drei Studierende des CDAI haben das Stipendium für Ausgezeichnete Studenten der ZUST erhalten.

Chinese-German Institute for Applied Engineering (CDAI) was founded in 2014，which is the first Sino-foreign cooperative educational institute in Zhejiang Province to offer both undergraduate and postgraduate programs leading to Bachelor or Master degrees. CDAI is the Gold Business Card of Zhejiang University of Science and Technology (ZUST) for it set a good example for the educational reform in exploring the ways to good universities of applied sciences, namely, the cradle of excellent engineers in China. In this regard, CDAI has comprehensively introduced the educational system as well as its management model from German universities of applied sciences, including education ideas, curriculum system, teaching contents, teaching methodology, teaching assessment and evaluation system, teaching management model and quality monitoring system, etc., and further more, CDAI keeps reform and innovating in cultivating excellent engineers with international view and application abilities. Thanks to the remarkable achievements, CDAI was awarded the first prize of Zhejiang Provincial Teaching Achievement Award in 2022 for its educational research project “Exploration and Practice of the cultivating model for ‘Three Modernization’ Engineering Talent on the Basis of Sino-German Cooperation”.

CDAI has 3 professional teaching teams and 3 research centers (German Language Center, Practical Teaching Center, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center) at present. Its three undergraduate majors are Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Automation which are based on the joint education projects between ZUST and three German Universities, namely, Luebeck University of Applied Sciences, West Saxon University of Applied Sciences of Zwickau and West Coast University of Applied Sciences. The three undergraduate majors all passed the German authority engineering certification — ACQUIN certification; besides, CDAI has signed 13 student overseas exchange programs with 10 German universities, through which qualified students could go to the 10 German universities to study further. So far, 286 students have gone to Germany 370 times for study and exchange.

CDAI has 40 faculty and staff, among them 29 are full-time teachers, 8 with senior professional titles, 10 with doctor’s degree, and 24 with overseas study experience; in terms of proportion, 27.59% with senior professional titles, 34.48% with doctor’s degree, and 96.55% with master’s degree or above; besides, CDAI has 19 foreign teachers, 13 of them are doctors, accounting for 68.42%. As for the honors and titles the teachers of CDAI have won, one has obtained the outstanding young teacher title of ZUST, 3 have got the excellent young teacher funding of ZUST, 2 lab assistants were awarded the honors for their fruitful laboratory work in Zhejiang Province, and the leader of Civil Engineering has been bestowed the title of outstanding Communist Party member in Zhejiang Province. In addition, teachers of CDAI have recently won 2 national prizes and 4 provincial ones in teaching skills competitions and discipline contests, the teaching dean of CDAI was honored with the “West Lake Friendship Award” in 2017 in Zhejiang Province, and the German head of the electrical major was conferred on the title of “Professor of the Year” in Germany.

As to the teaching and academic achievements, the teachers of CDAI have been actively engaged in teaching and scientific research, and hosted 2 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 12 provincial and ministerial scientific research programs, 11 provincial and ministerial teaching research projects and 4 departmental programs. In terms of publications, the teachers of CDAI have published 3 books and 73 articles in some influential journals, 6 of which are included in such first-class journals as CSSCI and A&HI, etc.

CDAI takes moral education as the basis on which such education ideas as “comprehensive development” “internationalization” and “application-oriented” have been adhered to and carried out in cultivating excellent engineers with international view and rich experience in engineering practice. Thereby, in recent years, students of CDAI have hosted over 10 national undergraduate innovation and entrepreneurship projects and 6 provincial programs, founded 7 enterprises and obtained 8 invention patents. Moreover, CDAI has actively organized various discipline competitions, and obtained the Outstanding Participating Unit and Best Organization Award of the National Robot Competition; and its students have won 74 national and 36 provincial prizes, among which students of the Class 2015 Electrical Engineering and Automation won the gold medal of The 4th University Students “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in Zhejiang Province, creating the new record of Zhejiang University of Science and Technology in the competition; besides, 3 students were awarded The Excellent Students Scholarship of ZUST.
